Tweakytrigger !
A 1 to 16 step Vinyl Scratchalike Allround Sequencer by qdaelic.
How it works:
A Magnet on a Turntable
triggers a Reed Switch !

1# catch a mouse ! then solder two cables to the leftclick
switch and take them to the reed switch.
you can also put an „on/off“ and a „punch in“ switch
in between, wich is recommended !
and last u should put tape on the led or trackball, so the
cursor can´t move.

now connect the mouse to your computer and put the cursor on the item u want to trigger. in this case i chose ableton, but there are many ways to trigger stuff !!! in ableton, you should turn off quantizing to have good results. now push the startbutton of your turntable and start sync´n it like a wild syncanimal.
the record has 16 areas where u can put magnets on(16 steps).those magnets trigger the reed switch.
i put magnet foil on the record. it is too weak to trigger the reed contact, but its good for the real magnets to put them on and off the record. common record players have two tempos: 33 / 45 rpm +/- pitch. this means the tempo of the sequencer is around 33 bpm 66bpm 132bpm and 45bpm 90bpm and 180bpm.
(in this case a vestax pdx is great !) . as magnets i use some strong neodymiumidontknow flatones.

a more convenient way to use the Tweakytrigger is to solder two cables for the reedswitch to a midi device. just take for example the contacts of the note C. when triggered, you get a C output signal
from midi out witch is easy to route to wherever you want !!!
...but the mouse is more Mac Gyver like !!! ;)
